Lincoln Law School of Sacramento is a private law school in Sacramento, California, United States. The school's stated goal is to provide an excellent legal education at an affordable cost to qualified applicants. The school offers an evening-only, four year juris doctor degree program. ==History== Lincoln law school was founded in 1969 by Sacramento attorneys Andrew Smolich and Victor Bertolani. Prior to 1969, there was only one law school, University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, in operation in the Sacramento region. Andrew Smolich recognized that he could seize upon the burgeoning demand for affordable legal education in Sacramento. When Andrew Smolich founded the school, his target market demographic was those students who wished to attain a quality legal education while still maintaining moderate prices. Since its founding, thousands of Lincoln Law School alumni have been admitted to practice law in California. The school has a well-renowned presence in the Sacramento region. Many Lincoln Law School alumni have become judges (both federal and state), prosecutors, and general counsel for, and executive officers of, numerous California state agencies.
